CarePair is the software behind a simple idea: when someone you love needs more care, you should not have to become an expert overnight to get it right.
Our mission
Make the next chapter of care navigable for every family.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of families in the United States move a parent into senior living or take on the job of keeping one safe at home. Almost none of them have done it before. The system they walk into was designed for the institutions in it, not the people passing through.
We believe the family should be at the center. That means one profile for the person being cared for, one application instead of twelve, one calendar instead of three group texts, and a real human when you want one. It means the tools are free for families and paid for by the organizations they save time for.
Where we come from
Built in Buffalo, by people who do this every day.
CarePair grew out of Cardinal Care Advisors, a senior placement and advisory practice in Western New York, and more than a decade of hospital care navigation. Our team has sat on every side of the table: the admissions office, the discharge desk, and the kitchen table where a family decides what comes next.
We started with Erie and Niagara counties because that is where we can walk into the buildings ourselves. Every community in CarePair has been visited, every form has been filled out by hand first, and every rule in the software came from a real rejection letter.
What we will not do
The lines we hold.
No fee on government-funded residents
If a placement is paid for by Medicaid or another public program, nobody pays us for it.
No medical diagnoses, no legal advice
We navigate. Clinicians diagnose. Attorneys advise. We know the difference and we refer.
No holding what we do not need
Physician forms pass through and are purged. Restricted identifiers are never requested up front.
No selling families
Your information goes to the communities you choose. It is never sold, shared, or used to advertise to you.
